Temperature
- The average temperature for 1995 was 46.4 degrees. This was 0.5 degrees
warmer than normal.
- It was the warmest year since 1991.
- The year had six months with warmer than normal temperatures (including each
the "summer months" - June, July, August) and six colder than normal months
(including the last two months of the year).
- The coldest temperature of the year was -12 (minus twelve) degrees on
January 19th.
- The hottest temperature was 97 degrees on July 14th.

precipitation in 1995.
- The eight months of February through September had an accumulated
precipitation deficit of 9.24 inches. This was second only to 1923 as the
driest February-September period in 116 years of record.
