Northeast Regional Climate Center and NYS Tug Hill Commission collaborated for a two-part workshop series focused on weather- and climate-related challenges of winter activities in the Tug Hill region. Exploring recent winters in the Tug Hill region and the tools that are available to help monitor weather and climate conditions.

Part 1: Virtual Session

In this pre-workshop session, we will provide an overview of the Northeast Regional Climate Center and the services it provides, with a special focus on tools for the winter season. This session will help provide the initial context and background for the in-person session.

Part 2: In-Person Session

For the in-person session, we will explore ways to apply tools to wintertime challenges in the Tug Hill region and identify opportunities to address gaps and needs. This session will be interactive and there will be many opportunities for sharing and networking.
