Almost the entire region saw warmer-than-normal temperatures in May.
Spring, though, ended on the cold side of normal.
After multiple colder-than-normal months in a row, May was warmer than normal for all 35 Northeast airport climate sites. The last time all sites were warmer than normal was October 2013.
