Not Much Snow for Santa

snowfall vs norm chart

Snowfall has been lacking so far this season.

Several cities that normally see up to 40 inches of snow from October through December accumulated less than 6 inches through December 14th. With temperatures expected to remain above normal and precipitation amounts below normal for the next two weeks, Santa might need a different vehicle while making his rounds in the Northeastern US. For those with hope, we have a chart of historical white Christmas probabilities for selected cities in the Northeast and the US.
